Hayworth Cancer Center

The Charles E. and Pauline Lewis Hayworth Cancer Center at High Point Regional Health provides all of the elements for compassionate care under one roof, including outpatient radiation therapy, outpatient chemotherapy, inpatient hospitalization and an array of support facilities and programs. The Center was designed with the health care and well-being of cancer patients and their families in mind—to create an environment of healing and wholeness.


Gifts may be made to Hayworth Cancer Center to support capital and equipment needs.

Give to LoveLine

The LoveLine Cancer Support Program at High Point Regional Health has offered a wide variety of services to patients for many years. Because of this program, cancer patients and their families have access to financial assistance for crisis necessities not covered by other resources. Donations to the LoveLine Fund are welcomed at any time of the year. This is the perfect way to honor, remember, or recognize those who are special to you.  For further information, you may contact the Foundation office at (336) 878-6011.



LoveLine Tree-Lighting Ceremony

Honor or Remember Your Loved One

Each year, High Point Regional Health invites those who have lost a loved one to cancer, cancer survivors, families and the community to join our cancer center staff for a Service of Remembrance and Hope. This ceremony recognizes all whose lives have been touched by cancer. Following a candlelight procession, attendees will join together to light the LoveLine Tree of Life on the front lawn of the Hayworth Cancer Center. A reception will be held following the ceremony.

The ceremony weill be be Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hayworth  Cancer Center. Invitations to the service will be mailed in November.  Gifts for the ceremony to light a light on the tree in honor or in memory of your loved one are accepted between November 1 and December 31. 




Gifts of $10.00

  • For each $10.00 gift, you may illuminate a light on the LoveLine Tree in honor or in memory of a loved one.

  • Recognition in the LoveLine Tree-Lighting Ceremony Program.
  • Custom signage on front lawn of Hayworth Cancer Center during the month of December.
  • A beautiful, large stone leaf with both donor and honoree or memorialee’s names on the LoveLine Tree of Life Wall in Hayworth Cancer Center Family Room for one year.




Pink Ribbon Event

The Pink Ribbon Campaign is a program sponsored primarily by an annual luncheon in May. All proceeds support:

Pink Ribbon Bags - Our bags distributed to all female patients newly diagnosed with any type of cancer at hospital. The bags are full of comfort items such as, inspirational books (helping with those unanswered questions like, what kind of shampoo do I use when my hair starts to fall out?), a portable personal radio to take to treatment, a journal, Book: Finding the Can in Cancer and much more.

CancerFitt - a 12-week supervised, group exercise class designed specifically for cancer patients.
