College Students

Students currently enrolled in an accredited college program may gain hands on career experience in several of our health system departments. Students must complete a minimum total of 50 hours during the course of the school year.

All students wishing to volunteer or those needing hours for required classes must register with the Volunteer Services department by mid-September of the fall semester, or by mid-January of the spring semester. Placement opportunities are limited during the summer due to the Teen Program.

The process:

We will contact you to discuss your placement when our Human Resources department has run and approved the criminal check. You will be asked to complete a health screening (take a two step TB skin test and provide proof of childhood immunizations.) You will complete a packet of orientation material and begin training.
