Employees Gave Strong to help Change Lives! Employees Raise More Than $124,000
HIGH POINT, N.C. – The employees at High Point Regional Health System (HPRHS) raised more than $124,000 to complete their second annual employee giving campaign, with a theme of Give Strong! Change Lives!
“Once again, our employees have exceeded our expectations,” said Denise Potter, Vice President, Foundation/Public Relations and Marketing. “They joined hands with the community in support of this hospital showing that together, we can make a difference! Our employees already give so much “heart and soul” in the work they do for the patients and families they serve. To see that participation and contributions from this campaign have increased from last year is truly something to be extremely proud of! ”
More than 670 employees from High Point Regional Health System gave in a four week period of time, with gifts ranging from $1 to more than $1,000.
Employee donations will be distributed directly to four different hospital beneficiaries: Area of Greatest Need, Diabetes Patient Fund, Heart Strides Patient Fund and Project Care. Employees were given the option of designating where they would like their contribution to go.
The Area of Greatest need Fund provides financial support to important patient care programs, services and technology that have the greatest need in the health system. The Diabetes Patient Fund provides critically needed educational services to uninsured diabetic patients who otherwise would be unable to participate in this health care service. The Heart Strides Fund provides cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services to patients suffering from heart or lung disease who cannot otherwise afford this vital treatment. Project care assists employees who experience a catastrophic emergency.
