Getting the Help You Need
Referrals to High Point Behavioral Health can be made by any
type of professional including physicians, mental health clinicians,
attorneys, managed care organizations or employee assistance
program counselors. Family members and significant others
can also make referrals. In addition, those suffering from
mental health or addiction problems can refer themselves.
High Point Behavioral Health believes those suffering from
mental health or addiction problems need an accurate, thorough
assessment of their treatment needs from the start.
Assessment services are available 24 hours a day, seven days
a week at our Behavioral Assessment Center located in High
Point. This confidential, community service is offered at
no charge and serves as a gateway to appropriate patient care.
By simply calling High Point Behavioral Health at (800) 525-9375,
a face-to-face private consultation can be scheduled with
a trained assessment and referral counselor who can assist
in determining the most appropriate treatment program and
setting. Counselors also work closely with managed care organizations
so patients receive the most efficient care within their benefit
plans.

Individuals referred to High Point Behavioral Health can count
on experienced clinical staff to design flexible, cost-effective
treatment plans to meet their personal needs. A prompt, thorough
diagnosis ensures patients get an early start on the work
they need to do in the most appropriate, least restrictive
setting.
Our continuum of care–from outpatient to more intensive
services–allows patients to experience the support they
need as they progress easily through necessary levels
of treatment.
At each step of treatment, our staff coordinates each patient's
care with the referring professionals, family, employers,
insurers, or managed care companies -- allowing patients to
concentrate on one thing -- getting better.
Treatment Coverage
The costs of services at High Point Behavioral Health are
carefully monitored and consistently reviewed to assure our
treatment services are cost-efficient.
Treatment is covered by most health insurance plans including
Medicare and Medicaid. If assistance is needed to pay for
services, our Health Finance Plan allows patients to establish
a line of credit with payments structured to fit their budget.
High Point Behavioral Health is accredited by the Joint Commission
on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and licensed
by the State of North Carolina. |
