The Center and our program are specially designed to meet the unique needs of patients needing total joint replacement. From the experienced Orthopaedic Surgeons to our expert nurses and physical therapists, to the group therapy atrium, Piedmont Joint Replacement Center is focused on successful outcomes for joint replacement patients. As a Piedmont Joint Replacement Center patient, you'll attend an educational session prior to surgery to help you understand what to expect during orthopedic surgery. Education continues after surgery with daily discussions with doctors, nurses and therapists and daily delivery of the award winning "Hip Tips" and "Knee Notes" newsletters. And you'll go through your joint replacement with other patients who've had the same procedure. You'll participate in group physical therapy and social activities - you'll even get a gourmet graduation meal for you and a loved one before you leave!
