Medical Oncology and Hematology
Medical Oncology and Hematology services at Hayworth Cancer Center are provided by the physicians of Cornerstone Hematology and
Oncology. The physicians treat blood-related disorders and cancers of the body with chemotherapy, immunologic and biological targeted
therapies and gene therapies.

Radiation Oncology is located on the first floor of the Hayworth Cancer Center in the Lillian Phillips Cancer Pavilion. UNC Radiation Oncologists utilize Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and high-dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy to treat all types of cancers.
