Support Groups


Living With Cancer Support Group

A support group for any cancer patient and/or family member. Janet Forrest, MHA facilitates this group. It is the perfect place to meet others who have shared your experience of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and are now "Living with Cancer." The group meets each month on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Cancer Resource Center Conference Room.

UsTOO Prostate Support Group

This opportunity is for men who have experienced Prostate Cancer from newly diagnosed to those who are in the treatment process. The group provides support and resources. Individuals meet other men and learn information from physician specialists and other health care providers to provide peace of mind and help individuals feel comfortable and confident during the treatment and recovery process. Participants will be able to ask questions for informed decision-making and develop new skills for coping. Joseph Neal, Clinical Chaplain leads the meetings on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:00-8:00pm in the Cancer Resource Center. No reservations needed. (No meetings in the summer months of June, July and August).

Leukemia, Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma Support Group

This support group is for Leukemia, Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma patients and their loved ones/caregivers. The group is facilitated by Pam Boswell, RN, OCN. Pam works on the Oncology Care Unit at The Hayworth Cancer Center. The LLM group meets every other month on the third Tuesday at 6:30pm in the Cancer Resource Center. (Meetings for 2010: August, October & December) No reservation needed.
