Unit Based Pharmacists

Pharmacists play an increasingly important role in ensuring that patients receive cost-effective, timely and safe drug therapy. High Point Regional’s pharmacists are deployed to the care areas on day shift in our decentralized point-of-care model. This clinical model allows pharmacists to work directly with the physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to take an active part in ensuring optimum patient care outcomes.
Covering one to three units, you’ll provide clinical services that include therapeutic drug monitoring and dosing, drug order review, drug information, teaching and drug information. You’ll also be able to provide training for pharmacy students.
There’s so much to get involved in here at High Point Regional. And when you are involved, you become part of a bigger picture.
