Nursing
Education
High Point Regional is proud to be one of about 100 hospitals
in the United States to receive the prestigious Magnet Status.
Magnet Status is awarded by a branch of the American Nurses'
Association, and is given to hospitals that demonstrate
extraordinary nursing skills.
The Nursing Education Fund is used to promote ongoing education
of the Health System's nursing staff. The fund supports
nurses in specialty exams and underwrites expenses of those
exams. The Scholarship Fund makes it possible to bring educational
programs on campus for the nursing staff. Patients, and
their families, as well as our nurses, benefit from the
fund as we continue to promote nursing excellence at High
Point Regional Health System.
Gifts may be made to:
- provide education scholarships for
people who want to become nurses and who agree to employment
with High Point Regional Health System
- to the Nursing Continuing Education
Fund to provide career assistance for nurses who want
to pursue advanced degrees/certifications
