The Cancer Center
The Cancer Center at High Point Regional Health System provides all of the elements for compassionate care under one roof, including outpatient radiation therapy, outpatient chemotherapy, inpatient hospitalization and an array of support facilities and programs. The Center was designed with the health care and well-being of cancer patients and their families in mind—to create an environment of healing and wholeness.

Gifts may be made to The Center Center to support capital and equipment needs.

Give to LoveLine

The LoveLine Cancer Program at High Point Regional Health System has offered a wide variety of services to patients for many years. Because of this program, cancer patients and their families have access to financial assistance for crisis necessities not covered by other resources. Donations to the LoveLine Fund are welcomed at any time of the year. This is the perfect way to honor, remember, or recognize those who are special to you. An acknowledgement card will be sent to the individual or family you have honored with no mention of the gift amount. LoveLine Tree-Lighting Ceremony-Honor or Remember Your Loved One

Each year, High Point Regional Health System invites those who have lost a loved one to cancer, cancer survivors, families and the community to join our cancer center staff for a Service of Remembrance and Hope. This ceremony recognizes all whose lives have been touched by cancer. Following a candlelight procession, attendees will join together to light the LoveLine Tree of Life on the front lawn of the Cancer Center. A reception is held afterwards in the lobby of the Cancer Center.

The ceremony will be Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 6:30PM in the Millis Regional Health Education Center. Invitations to the service will be mailed in November. To light a light on the tree in honor or in memory of your loved one, gifts for the ceremony are accepted between November 1 and December 31.


LoveLine Tree of Life Sponsor Opportunities

Sponsor Opportunities are:

Gifts of $5.00

• For each $5.00 gift, you can illuminate a light on the LoveLine Tree
  of Life in honor or in memory of a loved one.
  
• An acknowledgement card and invitation is mailed out to the
  person you have honored or the family member of the person
  you memorialized with your gift which notifies them of the gift you
  made and invites them to the LoveLine Ceremony.

Leaf Sponsor ~ Gifts of $1,000 +

• Recognition in the LoveLine Tree-Lighting Ceremony Program
• Custom signage on front lawn of the Cancer Center during the month of December.
• A beautiful, large copper leaf with both donor and honoree or memorialee’s names on the LoveLine Tree of Life Wall in the Cancer Center Family Room for one year.
  

Pink Ribbon Event – to provide comfort to women with a first diagnosis of cancer, through a gift of a comfort bag containing soothing essentials.

Oncology Nursing Fund – to provide nurses with professional training opportunities.
