The Medical Staff By-Laws outlines the various categories
of membership, duties as a part of the Medical/Dental and
Allied Health.
How long does the application
process take?
The application process takes approximately 90 days with
a fast track process of 30 days. The Fast Track Policy can
be requested by calling the Medical Staff office.

Is there an application fee?
Yes, the fee for Medical/Dental Staff is $250.00; the fee
for Allied Health Staff is $150.00 due upon receipt of the
application. There is also a late reappointment fee of $250.00.

Do I have to take Emergency Room Call?
Yes you must take call as a member of the Active Medical
Staff (see the Medical Staff By-Laws for ER call requirements).

How many beds does your hospital have?
Acute care beds – 291; Skilled nursing - 30; Behavioral
Health beds - 47; Acute rehab beds – 16 for a total
of 384.

How many Continuing Medical Education
hours does the hospital require at reappointment?
30 hours every two years (related to your area of specialty).

Is there a requirement for meeting
attendance?
Yes, you must attend 50% of Section and Medical Staff meetings
every two years.

Is there a Board Certification requirement?
You must take the Board Certification exam within 5 years
of appointment to the Medical/Dental Staff.
