Working full time.


After a weekend of pure laziness, it was back to work. I have a busy schedule, but I tried to work only until about 3:00. It just didn’t work that way. I have trouble organizing my schedule to allow enough time to drink and take vitamins. I can run around at top speed for about 2 to 3 hours, then you can almost observe my speed slow down and my eyes start to close, as if someone had turned down a dimmer switch.

I start my day with a tiny can of V8 to get the sodium and potassium I need for a jump start. It has become my new version of coffee. I get in as much Gatorade as I can, but I’m not too fond of it. The local store had a sale on it, 10 bottles for 10 bucks. I bought several flavors, but I am finding I’m not too fond of any of them! So far, Fierce Grape tastes best, but what’s up with the color? It’s Smurf blue!

I am getting tired of tomato soup, beef broth, popsicles and Jell-o. Just a few more days and I can have semi-solids. I can’t wait! I have Saltines, too, and I never knew they could taste so good!

The good thing is that my weight right now is dropping about a pound a day. I know it won’t last. I’d be scared if it did, but it helps to make the liquid diet more acceptable. I really have to concentrate on getting more fluids in, though.
