Most people think of neurosurgery as solely surgery of the brain, but the reality is that it encompasses much more than brain surgery. Neurosurgery involves treatment of the entire nervous system. It is the specialty concerned with the diagnosis and management of injuries, diseases or disorders of the brain, spinal cord and column, and peripheral nerves within all parts of the body. High Point Medical Center Neurosurgery offers services on many levels through diagnosis, evaluation, surgical treatment, critical care and rehabilitation for the nervous system.
High Point Medical Center Neurosurgeons help patients suffering from neck and back pain, head trauma, brain tumors and a host of other illnesses. Depending on the nature of the injury, our neurosurgeons may provide surgical or non-surgical care and provide care for both pediatric and adult patients.
High Point Medical Center is a multi-specialty group of physician practices, a wholly-owned subsidiary of High Point Medical Center.
