High Point Medical Center Pediatrics Presents “It’s A Girl Thing” Puberty Survival Seminar for Tween Girls and Parents
This informative and lively discussion of puberty, the opposite sex and growing up will set you and your favorite pre-teen girl on the right path for a conversation about these sometimes very challenging topics. Designed for girls nine to 13 years of age and their mom, dad or legal guardian, this seminar will include discussions about physical changes and menstruation; what girls should know about their bodies and emotions and social issues that commonly occur during this period of rapid growth and development.
Join Dr. Rob Poth, pediatrician with High Point Medical Center, and learn how to survive puberty. After the seminar there will be an opportunity for the girls to ask questions in a group or private setting.
