Three High Point Regional Nurses Earn Rare Certification

Three nurses at High Point Regional Health System have been certified as Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

Julie Jordan, BSN, Kelly Whitlock, BSN, both of Thomasville, and Linda Boehlein, BSN, of Greensboro, are now among the 14 in North Carolina and 230 in the world to receive the PCCN certification.

The certification requires a three-hour written exam and 1750 direct bedside hours caring for acutely ill patients within the last two years.
