Signs and Symptoms That No Woman Should Ignore

10/11/2018

Ladies the signs and symptoms of gynecological concerns, such as ovarian or cervical cancer can be very subtle and easily ignored. Those very symptoms, however, could be signaling a very real health concern.

While women are more likely to have symptoms if the disease has spread in its, early-stages there can be some clues. The most common symptoms of gynecological cancers include, bloating, pelvic or abdominal (belly) pain, trouble eating or feeling full quickly, urinary symptoms such as urgency (always feeling like you have to go) or frequency (having to go often). While
most often these symptoms are not a sign of cancer, they can be. Knowing that and knowing when to seek medical intervention can be very important for treatment outcomes.

Join Dr. Michael Kelly, Associate Professor of Gynecologic Oncology of Wake Forest Baptist Health, to learn more of the newest research on the most often ignored symptoms and leading-edge treatment options.
