Regional Rehab and Pain Associates in New Location

Regional Rehabilitation and Pain Associates has moved to the medical office building at 404 Westwood Ave., Suite 207, with patient appointments being scheduled in the new facility. The practice is designed to provide the most effective treatments to patients who have acute as well as chronic pain issues.

The staff has also increased to four with the addition of Maria Bodea, M.D., who completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Dr. Bodea specializes in chronic pain management and also treats patients who have acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems. She joins the practice with John Begovich, D.O., Heather Fullerton, M.D., and John Goeke, Ph.D.

The medical director, Dr. Begovich, treats patients who have acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems. He also manages the care of patients on the inpatient Rehabilitation unit at High Point Regional Health System as well as performing outpatient spine procedures for patients at the Surgery Center.

Dr. Fullerton provides outpatient care full time in the practice and specializes in treatment of acute musculoskeletal and sports related injuries.

Dr. Goeke is a rehabilitation psychologist and provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment services to patients seeking help with complex illness or injury issues. He has over 16 years experience, 13 of those in the practice, and clinical interests in patients who have cardio-pulmonary issues as well as pain and sleep disorders.
