Money Raised through Bud Kivett Surpasses Goal
This year’s Bank of North Carolina Bud Kivett Championship raised a total of $43,529 for patient scholarships to Heart Strides Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab program at High Point Regional Health System.
The 30th annual championship, known as the City of High Point Tournament, includes an inter-club challenge, also sponsored by Bank of North Carolina. It was won, for the second year in a row, by a team from Oak Hollow Golf Course, competing against 18 other Triad teams.
This tournament has raised nearly $300,000 for Heart Strides scholarships since it was named after the late Bud Kivett in the 1980’s.
