Local Jeweler and Designers Support Health System
A trunk show including the new Eighteen Karat Gold and Sterling Silver collections of jewelry designed by local sisters, Landon and Heath Slane, will again help benefit High Point Regional Health System’s efforts to increase contributions to the hospital’s Endowment Fund.
The Slane & Slane Trunk Show will be held at the newly renovated and expanded Simon Jewelers at 1345 N. Main Street in High Point on Friday, November 16 (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.) and Saturday, November 17 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.). For the fourth year, owner Gary Simon plans to donate a portion of the sales of Slane & Slane jewelry, purchased during the show, to the health system’s Endowment Fund.
Heath and Landon Slane will be available to discuss their new designs at the store on Friday, the 17th from 3 - 7 p.m., and Saturday, the 18th from 1 to 3 p.m. Special guest host Marsha Slane will dedicate the new Slane & Slane Boutique at Simon Jewelers at 6 pm on Friday. Light refreshments will be served. The Slane sisters are also donating a beautiful single strand of while oval pearls with eighteen karat gold and sterling silver toggle and an eighteen karat gold and silver Signature Pendant with Pave diamonds (valued at $2120) to be raffled to benefit the Endowment, with the drawing held at 6 pm on Saturday.
The Slanes have long been associated with the health system through the involvement of their parents Marsha and Jack Slane. Gary Simon, of Simon Jewelers, has served as a member of the Endowment Board of High Point Regional.
