Local Jeweler and Designers Raise Funds for HPRHS Endowment Fund
The recent trunk Slane & Slane Trunk Show at Simon Jewelers, contributed over $14,000 to High Point Regional Health System’s Endowment Fund, according to HPRHS Vice President Meredith Eanes.
The gift included a portion of the proceeds from Slane & Slane jewelry during the event, donated by Gary Simon, and the sales of raffle tickets for a pendant and necklace donated by the designers, Landon and Health Slane. “This successful fundraising event is an impressive example of how local businesspeople, and families such as the Slanes, with a long history of philanthropy to High Point, generously support our Hospital in a creative, community-engaging manner,” said Simon.
Landon and Heath Slane visited Simon Jewelers throughout the weekend, meeting with old friends and sharing news about their internationally-acclaimed jewelry collections. Simon Jewelers was one of the first retailers in the country to carry the line which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2007, and continues to offer one of the largest individual collections of Slane & Slane Jewelry in the world.
