Introduction of New Linear Accelerator

High Point Regional is launching a new state-of-the-art Varian Linear Accelerator on Friday, June 1st at noon in the Radiation Therapy Department. The new equipment is the only one of its kind in Guilford County and is designed to produce high energy x-rays used for cancer treatment. The accelerator will be commissioned with a ribbon cutting by Megan Bright, MS, Medical Physicist.
