11/19/2004
The Inpatient Rehab Center at High Point Regional Health System has received the highest level of accreditation from CARF, the Commission on Accreditation for Rehab Facilities. The three-year CARF accreditation means that the center has made a commitment to continually enhance the quality of its services and programs, and its focus is on consumer satisfaction.
The medical director of the 16 bed Rehab Unit, Dr. John Begovich, is a physiatrist, a physician who specializes in rehabilitation. The staff of thirty-five includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, recreation therapists, rehab nurses, a Social Work Case Manager, and the services of the hospital’s clinical nutrition department and pastoral care program.
