Holly Mason Named Nursing Director at High Point Medical Center
High Point Medical Center has named Holly Mason, RN, MSN, CEN, CMTE as Nursing Director. In this role, she is responsible for oversight of house operations while working with other clinical leaders to optimize operational efficiency by managing nursing supervision, supplemental float pool staff, per diem nursing and centralized staffing.
Mason joined High Point Medical Center in 2015 as a nursing supervisor. Previously, Mason was the program manager of AirCare Critical Care Transport at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Her experience includes serving as the assistant unit manager of the Wake Forest Baptist emergency department, the unit manager of the Brenner’s Pediatric Emergency Department and working as a staff nurse in the Wake Forest Baptist Health burn intensive care unit, emergency department and as a flight nurse. She has served on multiple Six Sigma Lean projects improving processes within emergency services and Mason has been involved in various disaster management roles.
Mason holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Radford University and a master’s degree in nursing leadership and administration from Walden University.
