High Point Regional Wins Prestigious Wallie Award
The Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society (CHPRMS) recently awarded an employee in the Marketing and Public Relations Department at High Point Regional with a Wallie Award for advertising.
“I am both surprised and honored,” said Pamela Stephens, outreach coordinator. “To be recognized by your peers is truly an honor and a testament to the outstanding professionals that I work with each day.”
Given annually, Wallie Awards recognize excellence in health care public relations and marketing. A panel of health care professionals selects winners in a variety of categories. The category in which the hospital was recognized for was: newspaper single ad.
“The Unbuttoned Skirt” ad promoted High Point Regional’s “The Plan,” which is a 12-week comprehensive weight loss program that combines individual exercise, nutritional counseling and group support. To learn more about “The Plan,” please call the Contact Center at (336) 878-6888.
