High Point Medical Center Hosts 28th Annual LoveLine Celebration
WHAT: All cancer patients, survivors, family and friends who have been affected by cancer are invited to join High Point Medical Center for a celebration of life, hope and encouragement.
The 2016 LoveLine Celebration of Life will include speakers from the Hayworth Cancer Center, a service of U NC Hospitals, the lighting of the LoveLine tree and a walk around the hospital campus where numerous trees will be lit in honor and memory of cancer patients. Live music and refreshments will be available. All cancer patients and survivors will receive a glow necklace to wear during the walk to "light the way" for others on this same journey.
The LoveLine Fund enables the Hayworth Cancer Center to provide direct assistance to patients and their families for prescription medications, wigs, equipment rental, nutritional supplements, transportation and other emergency needs. During a time when the news of cancer can be so devastating, the offer of help through LoveLine can ease some worry and help promote healing.
Gifts for the celebration are now being accepted and will continue thru December 31. To make a donation, please contact the Foundation at (336) 878-6292 or visit www.HighPointRegionalHealthFoundation.com
