High Point Regional Completes United Way Campaign
High Point Regional Health System has completed the first campaign of the United Way season, and again has achieved goal.
The hospital campaign steering committee, led by Vice President, Tammi Mengel, announced a total of $165,932 raised as of this week.
The theme of this year’s campaign, Project United Way, was modeled after the television program “Project Runway,” with each vice president wearing a different style of clothing, borrowed from the Salvation Army, one of the United Way agencies.
The campaign resulted in donations of 42 Leadership Gifts ($1,000), an increase of 12 from last year. The average employee gift was $214.
