Dr. Paula Szypko Leaves Federal Committee

High Point pathologist, Paula Szypko, MD, has completed her term as chair of the Federal and State Affairs Committee of the College of American Pathologists, and received recognition in the U.S. House of Representatives for her work with the committee.

Szypko, who is with North State Pathology Associates, has been a leading national advocate for early cancer screening tests, especially Pap tests for early detection of cervical cancer in women. She is also a past Chief of Staff at High Point Regional Health System.
