Concerning Women Seminar - What’s Your Number: Understanding Cholesterol
Did you know 71 million American adults have high LDL, or “bad,” cholesterol? Do you understand the difference between HDL and LDL and triglycerides? Maintaining a healthy weight, following a healthy diet, and being physically active all play an important role in managing cholesterol levels. However, lifestyle changes alone may not be enough to lower cholesterol to target levels, for some people medication may be required.
Join Dr. Alexander Borun with Regional Physicians Family Medicine to discuss what your “numbers” are and how you can live a healthier, longer life.
