Concerning Women Seminar - Dealing with Grief and Loss
Almost everyone has experienced grief sometime in their life. In addition to the death of a loved one, other losses can be equally as traumatic. Divorces, separation from family and friends, illness, disability, retirement and abuse are other examples of grief provoking events that can be distressing and painful. The holiday season can compound grief and make it even more stressful and difficult.
Grief is a natural, emotional response to loss; however rarely are we “taught” how to cope with these challenging emotions. Join Joseph Neal, MDiv, BCC, to discuss coping skills for dealing with grief and loss that will help you move through the holiday season and into a more positive frame of mind.
