High Point Medical Center
At 3:55 a.m. a car drove through the front entrance of the High Point Medical Center Emergency Department. The driver is currently being evaluated. There was a passenger in the car that has been evaluated and released. There were no other injuries in this accident.
The Emergency Department remains open, both for walk in and EMS patients. The building was evaluated and the hospital is structurally sound. No other patient services have been disrupted.
